İki ve ikiden fazla heceli sıfatlarda kıyaslama yapmak için kıyaslama yaptığımız özellik-sıfat "more ve than" kelimelerinin arasına getirilir.

-e harfi ile biten sıfatlar ile karşılaştırma yaparken sadece "-r/-st" getirilir.

-y harfi ile biten sıfatları karşılaştırma yaparken kullanmak istediğimizde -y harfi düşer yerine "-ier" gelir veya "-iest" gelir.
