Sıfat cümleciği yapan soru kelimelerinden sonra başka bir özne varsa "which, who, whom, that, where, when, why" kelimeleri kullanılmayabilir.

• The book which he wrote was really good. (Onun yazdığı kitap gerçekten iyiydi.)
• The book he wrote was really good.
• The guests whom you were waiting for have come. (Beklediğiniz misafirler geldi.)
• The guests you were waiting for have come.
• Do you remember the day when we met first? (İlk buluştuğumuz günü hatırlıyor musun?)

• This is the place where I live. (Burası benim yaşadığım yer.)
• This is the place I live.
• I don’t know the reason why she cries. (Neden ağladığını bilmiyorum.)
• I don’t know the reason she cries.
